The Vicarium brand and the intellectual property of the platform are held by LofStaet Groep B.V. (Chamber of Commerce 97333352). You enter into this agreement with Woon IoT BV.
Vicarium is not a password vault but a handover service. You get:
The service only works if you take part. You keep the inventory current, you choose a trusted person, and you keep your recovery code outside this system. A vault that has not been updated for two years gives a successor a false picture, and that is worse than no vault.
Your data is encrypted with a passphrase only you know. We cannot restore it. Lose both your passphrase and your recovery code and the contents are irrecoverably lost. That is inherent to a service that promises it cannot look inside, and it is not grounds for compensation.
You decide who receives an emergency key and under which rule it opens: immediately, or after a waiting period in which you can refuse. We execute what you set. If you issue a key that opens immediately, keeping it safe is your responsibility. A key with a waiting period only starts counting once we have actually reached you.
EUR 395 one-off for registration, setup and the first year. Then EUR 200 per year or EUR 25 per month. All amounts excluding VAT. Multiple legal entities or self-hosted servers count as additional work and are quoted in advance. Payment runs through our payment provider; we never receive card details.
You may cancel monthly, effective at the end of the current period. After cancellation your vault stays reachable for 90 days so you can take your data with you; after that we delete it. Amounts already paid are not refunded pro rata.
We aim for uninterrupted service but do not guarantee it. That is precisely why every emergency key ships with an offline copy that works without our website being reachable. We announce maintenance in advance, except for a security issue that cannot wait.
Our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the event. We are not liable for consequential loss, lost profit, or damage arising from incorrect or outdated information you entered yourself. These limits do not apply in case of intent or deliberate recklessness on our part.
Access is not authority. Who may sign, pay or decide on behalf of your company follows from the articles of association and the commercial register, not from holding a password. We point this out and help you arrange it, but we are not a civil-law notary and give no legal advice.
Dutch law applies. Disputes go to the competent court in the Rotterdam district, after we have first tried to resolve matters together.
